Aircraft Weighing and Weight & Balance

We weigh aircraft up to 12,000 LBS. on our certified load cell scales. We then enter all information into our computer program and calculate various weight and balance conditions for your plane including a full load condition. Most aircraft can be set-up and weighed in less than 2 hours.

Why perform aircraft weighing?

• Accurately determine location of empty C.G.
• Location can change with service life of aircraft due to many factors.
• Use known baseline weight and C.G. location from which to determine loaded configurations.

How is it done?

• Using calibrated load cell weight platforms.
• Inside our facilities.
• Actual weighing and related data collection done by IA mechanic.
• Weighing accurate to within 0.25% of recorded weight.
• Results are presented in tabular format.
• Alternative load configuration computations can be derived from the new weight.
